User Agreement (Buyers Version)

1. Introduction
ShopEthiopian.com (hereinafter referred to as “Shop Ethiopian” or “we”) is a comprehensive e-commerce platform operated by [Your Company Name], independently developed to provide one-stop services for foreign trade. This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) governs the relationship between you (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Buyer”) and Shop Ethiopian in relation to the use of the services offered on the Shop Ethiopian website.
By accessing and using Shop Ethiopian and its related services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before proceeding.
2. Registration
- To access certain pages or services on Shop Ethiopian, you must become a registered user. By accessing or using Shop Ethiopian and its related services, you represent that you are legally qualified to enter into binding contracts in your place of residence and the location where you use our services. If you do not agree with or cannot comply with the terms of this Agreement, please do not access or use Shop Ethiopian and its related services.
- During registration, you are required to provide accurate, legal, and valid registration information. Any changes in your registration information must be promptly updated.
- Upon successful registration, you will be provided with a user account and password, which you are responsible for managing securely. You will bear any damages caused by improper password management.
- Your user profile, including your username, profile photo, and other information, must comply with relevant laws and regulations of Ethiopia and Shop Ethiopian’s provisions and must not infringe the legitimate rights and interests of any third party.
3. Access and Use
- You are solely responsible for all actions taken on your registered account. You may not share, transfer, or allow anyone other than yourself to use your account. If unauthorized use of your account or password is detected, please notify Shop Ethiopian immediately.
- You must carefully evaluate the information posted on Shop Ethiopian, as it is available to users of supplier companies located in Ethiopia and internationally. Ensure that you comply with the import and export control laws and regulations, trade restrictions, and economic sanctions in your country or region. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legitimate rights and qualifications for cross-border import and export of goods and that you do not infringe upon the rights and interests of third parties.
- When accessing or using Shop Ethiopian, you shall not engage in the following actions:
- Using Shop Ethiopian for illegal activities, such as fraud, defamation, pyramid schemes, and sales of infringing goods.
- Sending spam or unsolicited messages to other users without permission, sending malicious or provocative content, and distributing commercial advertisements.
- Posting content that violates the laws and regulations of Ethiopia, your country or region, or Shop Ethiopian’s provisions. This includes derogatory content related to religion, race, or gender, and content that contains obscenity, pornography, insult, defamation, harassment, abuse, or threats to other users.
- Impersonating another person or creating a false identity to deceive others.
- Collecting information about other users, including email addresses and user IDs, without their consent.
- Transmitting or disseminating computer viruses, malicious software, or programs.
- Violating Shop Ethiopian’s rules or infringing upon the rights and interests of third parties.
- In the event of any violation of the law or this Agreement, Shop Ethiopian reserves the right to unilaterally suspend or terminate your access and use of the platform without prior notice.
4. Limitation of Liability
- Shop Ethiopian does not guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, safety, and legality of information posted by other users. Users should carefully evaluate the information and assume any risks associated with using Shop Ethiopian.
- Shop Ethiopian may send you commercial advertisements, product information, and service notices to improve your user experience. You can unsubscribe from such notifications through the corresponding function.
- You shall ensure that the information you post on Shop Ethiopian complies with the laws and regulations of Ethiopia and your country or region. Any losses incurred due to your violation of these regulations will be your responsibility, and Shop Ethiopian will not be liable for such losses.
- Shop Ethiopian is not responsible for any damages caused by your use of the platform. We do not guarantee the results of the services and are not liable for direct, indirect, special, or punitive damages.
- Shop Ethiopian reserves the right to make changes to the platform, and we may adopt technical measures to comply with local laws and regulations, which may result in different information and services being available for users from different countries.
- You agree to indemnify Shop Ethiopian for any losses caused by your violation of laws and regulations or your infringement of third-party rights.
5. Disputes and Complaints Settlement
- Disputes between you and third parties, including supplier users and other users, can be resolved through friendly consultation, complaint to Shop Ethiopian, complaint to relevant government departments, arbitration, lawsuits, or other mutually agreed methods.
- If you choose to complain to Shop Ethiopian, we may investigate and render an outcome based on the facts available and in accordance with our rules.
- If you have a dispute with a third party, Shop Ethiopian has the right to investigate the situation and may notify the other party of the investigation. You are obligated to provide relevant information to assist in dispute resolution.
- You understand and agree that Shop Ethiopian is not a professional judicial institution, and our decisions are based on available evidence. We are not responsible for the outcome of disputes.
- Shop Ethiopian reserves the right to take punitive measures against users who violate this Agreement.
6. Intellectual Property
- Shop Ethiopian respects and protects the intellectual property rights of others. Users who commit infringement shall bear legal responsibility.
- No transfer of intellectual property rights occurs when uploading or releasing information on Shop Ethiopian, except for personal information that you provide. You grant Shop Ethiopian an irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use the information you provide.
- All information, content, and software on Shop Ethiopian are protected by copyright laws and are the property of Shop Ethiopian and its information providers. Users may not use, reproduce, or distribute this information without permission.
7. Force Majeure

8. Application of Law, Jurisdiction, and Others
- This Agreement is governed by the laws and regulations of Ethiopia. Any disputes related to this Agreement will be resolved in the courts of Ethiopia.
- In the event that any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and binding.
- Shop Ethiopian reserves the right to make changes to this Agreement.
